Modern 3D vision platforms now incorporate deep learning tools directly into their framework. They provide user-friendly workflows that allow a non-expert to simply provide the system with a set of example images or point clouds of "good" and "bad" parts. The platform then automatically trains a neural network to learn the features that differentiate between the two. This AI-powered approach can solve incredibly complex inspection tasks that were previously unsolvable with automation. By making the power of AI accessible within a familiar vision development environment, these unified platforms are unlocking a new wave of applications and further solidifying their role as the central nervous system of modern quality control.
